All our drivers are qualified and highly experienced professionals with relevant accreditations and professional driving permits. Our bus undergoes a rigid preventative maintenance program and is safety tested at the roadworthy facilities every 6 months.

Madeleen Swanepoel
Owner, Educator and Driver
Madeleen is one of the founding members of Apex Charters. Having worked at different schools, different sports and countries; she understands the needs of school and is determined to offer customers the best combination of what she has learnt over the years. She collaborated with a small set of like-minded, qualified and experienced people, and the result was Apex Charters. Madeleen today is responsible for the overall vision of Apex Charters and for managing successful service delivery across all our locations. She is responsible for the smooth running of all activities within the organization.
Abrie Swanepoel
First Aider, Adviser and Driver
Abrie has been with Apex Charters right from the start, and has used his understanding of the business and market requirements which has lead to the rise of Apex Charters as a brand. He is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is in a top condition. Abrie is perhaps one of the most important people in the organization today, and before any trip, every single bus that leaves the premises, will be checked for safety and maintained at the highest standard. But it looks like that is hardly enough for him, as a charter services veteran, Abrie combines his leadership and people management skills to ensure smooth service delivery across the organization
Dirk Laubscher
Co-manager, Accountant and Driver
Dirk is a new member to our team. He brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in financial accounting. He manages the organization in co-ordination with Madeleen and is responsible for all accounting functions. One of his work commitments is to ensure smooth service delivery across the organization.
